Why?
How?
In order to become a member of BANG, one needs to submit a letter of application to the Executive Council. The Council then has to issue a decision on the application during its incoming session, but no later than four months after the application has been submitted. The application needs to specify the type of membership that is being applied for. Should the applicant be a legal entity, the application must include a document specifying the decision to apply for membership at BANG, issued by the relevant executive body of the entity
What?
A membership at BANG can be granted to individuals, legal entities and unions of legal entities. In order to meet the individual needs of our current and future partners we propose two types of membership:
Full membership. This type of membership grants the right for one vote at the General Assembly of the association, as well as the right to propose representative at the Executive Council. As a full member one has the right to propose representatives to all of the committees of the association, as well as to be elected as chairman of a committee.
Associate membership. This type of membership grants the right for one consultative vote at the General Assembly of the association, as well as the right to propose representatives to all of its committees.
A membership at BANG provides an opportunity to companies and specialists from the sector to help shape the future of the natural gas industry in Bulgaria. At the same time, it also offers them a variety of benefits. Here is what we do for our members:
- We represent and protect their interests;
- We ensure direct communication with the entire natural gas industry in Bulgaria;
- We provide opportunities for participation in initiatives, aiming at the improvement of natural gas related legal acts in the Bulgarian and the EU legislation;
- We support initiatives of our members at national and international levels;
- We offer exclusive information about the latest developments in the natural gas sector at national, EU and global levels.
